As an owner I wish to stand as a Trustee,I have requested email & physical address’s of owners from the Managment Agents only to be told I am not allowed access to this information
How can i possibly canvas without being able to contact other owners/
Dear Vectray,
Thanks for your email. According to section 37 (1) L states the body corporate has “to comply with any reasonable request for the names and addresses of the persons who are the trustees of the body corporate in terms of the rules referred to in section 35, or who are members of the body corporate;”
The owner information is public record and you can obtain this information at the deeds office. However, unfortunately only postal and physical addresses and not cell no and emails.
You must just be determined.
Good luck.
Michael
